    The helpline is answered by fully trained female support workers and volunteers, who will answer your call in confidence. All calls to the domestic violence helpline are free from mobiles and landlines. The 24hr freephone National Domestic Violence Helpline (run in partnership between Women’s Aid and Refuge) is available 7 days a week.

  • 24-hour Freephone Helpline

    The Freephone 24-Hour National Domestic Violence Helpline is for women experiencing domestic violence, their family, friends, colleagues and others calling on their behalf.
    The Helpline is staffed by fully trained female support workers and volunteers. All calls are completely confidential. Translation facilities for callers whose first language is not English, and a service for callers who are deaf or hard of hearing are available.
